It has been quite some time since the management team at Dreigiau Pro Cycling has put out a press release, but with season 33 coming to a close manager Alex and newly-appointed PR manager Leroy Furby have decided that the time is right to give some insights as to where the Welsh sprinting outfit is heading.

Season 33 was definitely a memorable season. The team has comfortably settled into Division 4 (peaking in Division 3 for a few days!), which was the team's initial goal upon their formation 2 seasons ago, and now the team is looking to use Division 4 as a base to become the top team in Wales. The meteoric rise from the beginners division to Division 4 in only two seasons is a remarkable achievement for a brand new club, and team morale is sky high.

"It's been quite the season, thats for sure," mused manager Alex, "we still have one more race in Angola coming up, but that is our last race for this season and I am proud of what we have accomplished. [Team captain Flemming] Willumsen has been in exceptional form and is almost in the top ten riders of his country [Denmark] which is a huge cycling hotbed and a huge accomplishment for him."

It is safe to say that the accomplishments of Willumsen wee vital to the team's success this past season. With a team record six wins to his name and ten results, Flemming Willumsen truly carried the team throughout the year, picking up every point for the team. The Danish captain is only 23 years old and will be leading the team for the foreseeable future. Young Lead outs Ricky Ramsey and Guinean Andre Akiloye have partnered well with Willumsen in the team's lead out train and veterans Borislav Shashlov, Fransisco Corrales, and Kirby Fatchett have been quick to provide support to these young prodigies. With new English trainee Garret Vale transferring over from South African team nonnies on the first day of season 34, the future is bright for Dreigiau Pro Cycling with an abundance of young talent that will keep the team competitive in the higher divisions for the next 5-10 seasons at least.

A team record for wins, results, points and prize money makes Dreigiau Pro Cycling one of the hottest cycling outfits in the UK, as well as the entire cycling world. The rest of the OCM tour needs to watch out next season, because Dreigiau Pro Cycling is looking to break even more team records in their quest for the number one rank in Wales.
